About the Role
Watershed Consulting is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee the operation of multiple construction site laboratories in Germiston, Gauteng. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all site laboratories comply with SANAS 17025 standards and maintaining high-quality standards across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all construction site laboratories are established and maintained according to SANAS 17025 standards.
- Oversee construction laboratory equipment calibration, environmental conditions, quality systems, and laboratory documentation.
- Conduct regular internal audits and compliance inspections of site laboratories.
- Identify non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Train and support construction laboratory staff on SANAS 17025 compliance requirements and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of audits, corrective actions, compliance activities, and quality documentation.
- Prepare and submit compliance and quality reports to management and relevant authorities.
- Monitor and improve laboratory quality systems and processes continuously.
- Ensure all construction site laboratory activities meet company, client, and regulatory requirements.
