About the Role

As an HR Manager at Unique Personnel Ltd, you will play a critical role in shaping the company’s human resources strategy and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. This is a unique opportunity to join our team as we require an experienced HR professional who can manage the full employee lifecycle, drive employee engagement, and represent the company in labour disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Provide strategic HR support to management
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment legislation
  • Industrial Relations (IR): manage disciplinary processes, investigations, and grievance procedures
  • Advise management on labour law and employee relations matters
  • Conduct disciplinary hearings and chair enquiries where required
  • Manage poor performance, absenteeism, misconduct, and incapacity cases
  • Represent the company at CCMA conciliation and arbitration hearings
  • Prepare all documentation and evidence required for CCMA matters
  • Liaise with legal representatives and labour consultants where necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or a related field
  • Minimum 58 years’ HR management experience
  • Proven experience in Industrial Relations and CCMA representation
  • Extensive payroll management experience
