About the Role

Our client is a well-established and growing organisation operating within a fast-paced industrial environment, seeking a Financial Analyst to strengthen their commercial finance capability and support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyse sales, production and operational performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Sales, Supply Chain and Operations teams to provide commercial and financial support.
  • Monitor and analyse income statement performance, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, forecasts and performance dashboards.
  • Develop and enhance Power BI reporting and business intelligence tools.
  • Extract, analyse and interpret data from SAP to support operational and commercial initiatives.
  • Conduct profitability, margin and cost analysis across products, customers and business units.
  • Support business cases, investment evaluations and scenario planning exercises.
  • Drive continuous improvement of reporting, forecasting and analytical processes.

Requirements

  • BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • CIMA qualification or active progression towards completion.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Financial Analyst, Commercial Finance, FP&A or Business Partnering role.
  • Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, automotive or a similar operational environment is highly advantageous.
