Description: Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Senior Resource Geologist to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for leading mineral resource estimation, geological modelling and resource reporting activities to ensure compliance, resource integrity and informed business decision-making. Responsibilities: Lead mineral resource estimation, geological modelling and resource reporting activities in accordance with industry standards and best practices. Ensure compliance with QAQC requirements, ISO standards and internal governance processes. Monitor and manage mineral resource risks to support business objectives and operational planning. Provide technical guidance and expertise on resource evaluation, sampling, data integrity and geological modelling. Coordinate resource geology projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resource confidence and reporting accuracy. Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements and relevant regulatory standards. Develop, maintain and review geological standards, procedures and resource estimation methodologies. Lead and develop team members to ensure effective performance, capability development and succession planning. Collaborate with operational, technical and corporate stakeholders to support resource optimisation and business decision-making. Requirements: Grade 12 BSc Hons Degree in Geology or equivalent 5 years’ experience as a Resource Geologist within the mining industry with extensive experience in geological modelling and mineral resource estimation Extensive knowledge of geological database management, grade estimation techniques and geological modelling software (e.g. Leapfrog, Datamine and Supervisor) Valid Driver’s License Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable) Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing move.
