Job Description
- Plan and send out a fleet of more than 100 heavy trucks every day.
- Watch truck movements live using advanced tracking software.
- Check trailer temperatures all the time to keep food and medicine safe.
- Plan the best long-distance and cross-border routes to save fuel and time.
- Work with the workshop team to fix truck breakdowns quickly.
- Talk to drivers before they leave and when they return to give them instructions and check their trips.
- Check driver logbooks, fuel slips, trip papers, and border documents carefully.
- Manage driver times so trucks do not face long delays at delivery centres.
What You Need to Apply
- A valid Matric (Grade 12) Senior Certificate.
- At least 5 years of experience working with truck fleets.
- Real experience working with fridge trailers and temperature control units.
- Good knowledge of South African roads and SADC cross-border rules.
- The ability to solve problems calmly when trucks break down far away.
- A strong, clear way of speaking to lead and support drivers every day.
