Job Description
- Facilitate interactive mathematics tutorials, workshops, and lectures aligned with the curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and activities to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Assist students in understanding key mathematical concepts across various disciplines (e.g., algebra, calculus, statistics, or applied mathematics).
- Evaluate and assess student progress through formative and summative methods.
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate mathematics into interdisciplinary academic initiatives.
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics at a tertiary or secondary level.
- Familiarity with tutoring or facilitating in a university environment (advantageous).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse student groups.
