About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Professional Nurse to join our team at Ultra Personnel in Gauteng. As a key member of our multidisciplinary clinical environment, you will play a crucial role in delivering integrative, functional medicine services that prioritize preventative health, longevity medicine, and exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with doctors and wellness practitioners within a multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to a positive, discreet, and high-performance clinic culture
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including lifestyle, wellness goals, and clinical history
- Perform skilled venepuncture and establish/maintain vascular access
- Safely administer IV infusions (vitamins, micronutrients, medications) and peptide therapies
- Assist practitioners in implementing personalised, data-driven treatment protocols by assisting with preparation and administration of peptide therapies
- Monitor patients throughout treatment protocols, ensuring safety and comfort while tracking progress and optimal outcomes
- Identify and manage infusion-related complications promptly and effectively according to local clinical guidelines
- Maintain a strong understanding of integrative health approaches, supplementation, and longevity therapies
- Deliver high-quality, clinical services with professionalism and warmth, and create a calm, welcoming clinical environment
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with patients
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Experience in IV therapy and infusion-based treatments is an advantage
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification would be advantageous
