About the Role
Our passenger vehicle dealer client based in Menlyn is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Sales Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in parts sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control stock levels to ensure optimal inventory management
- Negotiate competitive prices with suppliers to maximize profit margins
- Offer product solutions to customers to increase sales opportunities
- Retain current customers for repeat business and acquire new business through effective sales techniques
- Maintain good relationships internally and externally, including regular communication with customers via various mediums
- Utilize work-related/OEM related system know-how, such as EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue), to efficiently process orders and manage inventory
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Parts Sales Executive within the motor industry
- High product knowledge of parts and accessories
- Excellent communication skills using all mediums (verbal, electronic, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fully computer literate with proficiency in work-related/OEM related systems
Qualifications
- Matric or Grade 12
- Valid South African driver’s license
