About the Role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a reputable and experienced Pharmacist to join their team at Festival Mall in Kempton Park. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our customers while ensuring excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for patients’ medicine-related needs
- Evaluation of patients’ medicine-related needs by determining the indication, safety, and effectiveness of therapy
- Dispensing of medicines or scheduled substances on the prescription of an authorized prescriber
- Furnishing information and advice to customers regarding the use of medicines
- Determining patient compliance with therapy and follow-up to ensure that patients’ medicine-related needs are being met
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric BPharm / equivalent qualification
- Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in pharmaceuticals, preferably in retail pharmacy
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office
- Good communication skills and ability to work with patients
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
