A leading industrial engineering and power transmission solutions company is looking for an experienced Product Application Engineer with strong experience in gearbox applications, technical sales support, business development, and customer solution engineering to join their team in Parkhaven, Boksburg. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to internal sales teams and customers, assist with product selection and application support, and contribute to market growth strategies within the gearbox division. Responsibilities: Provide technical sales support to internal sales teams and customers regarding gearbox products and applications Assist in achieving or exceeding sales targets through technical product positioning and customer support Train and support branch teams on product offerings and total cost of ownership solutions Develop market saturation and go-to-market plans with measurable outcomes Use CRM systems to manage opportunities and action plans effectively Conduct ongoing product and application training for sales and technical teams Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, product developments, and business opportunities Collaborate with product managers and sales teams to improve product knowledge and resource deployment Contribute to business plans and monthly team reviews Build strong customer relationships through technical expertise and solution-driven support Requirements: Technical Degree, Diploma, or equivalent technical experience Minimum 5 years experience in business development and technical sales support Strong knowledge of gearbox products and industrial applications Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills Technical aptitude with a strong sales orientation Highly analytical with strong attention to detail Self-motivated with a growth mindset Valid drivers licence Benefits: Salary: negotiable.
