About the Role
Network Finance is seeking an experienced Technical Buyer to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and evaluating suppliers of PCBA’s, cables & wires, electronic components, machined aluminium components, and IT/network components
- Requesting and analysing quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance
- Negotiating pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms
- Assessing supplier compliance against technical specifications and regulatory standards
- Supporting strategic sourcing initiatives focused on cost saving and supplier competitiveness
- Managing ERP system accuracy and procurement documentation
Requirements
- Matric – Grade 12
- 4–5 years’ experience in technical buying / technical procurement
- Proven exposure to electronic & computer components
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Acumatica experience advantageous
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills
