About the Role
The Lodge Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our luxury lodge in Grahamstown, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high levels of service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage lodge operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance services.
- Lead a multicultural team to deliver outstanding guest experiences and achieve operational targets.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with remote teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5–7+ years of progressive experience in lodge or hotel management, with significant exposure to luxury or 5-star lodge operations.
- Strong background in leadership, guest service excellence, financial oversight, and remote lodge management.
