Hartbeespoort: Food Beverage Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Food Beverage Manager to join our team in Hartbeespoort. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective communication with department heads, controlling costs, monitoring sales, maintaining hygiene standards, managing HR processes, and overseeing health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure daily communication with the Head of Departments & Superiors.
• Control Processes on COS to achieve monthly budgets.
• Ensure daily sales balance in the income statements.
• Ensure daily cash-ups are checked and signed off.
• Verify that Quality of Hygiene Standards, food quality according to Company standards in the business unit, is checked daily.
• Monitor the appropriate needs and ensure that on-the-job training is done by the relevant people.
• Verify that all HR processes are managed.
• Verify the accuracy of supplier Invoices & data from the stock system.
• Handover, reports & control documents.
• Verify that the following Health, Safety, and hygiene processes and procedures are managed accordingly.
• Perform any relevant duties as required by management.

Requirements

• Skills in cost control and budgeting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to monitor sales and cash flow
• Knowledge of quality hygiene standards and food safety procedures
• Experience with HR processes and on-the-job training

• National Diploma: Hotel Catering
• National Diploma: Hospitality
