Job Description

Key Responsibilities Fire Systems Installation & Maintenance (Fire Protection Jobs South Africa) Support installation, servicing, and repair of fire protection systems including sprinklers, fire alarms, and suppression systems Assist with pumps, electrical motors, and related fire system components Ensure all systems meet required performance and compliance standards Site Coordination & Team Support Coordinate fire protection technicians to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery Conduct on-site assessments and provide guidance to improve team performance Support smooth execution across multiple job sites Safety, Compliance & Risk Management Conduct routine safety inspections and enforce adherence to safety protocols Assist with fire risk assessments and compliance checks Ensure alignment with relevant building codes and fire safety standards Stock & Inventory Management Monitor and maintain stock levels of materials and equipment Ensure availability of required tools and components for project execution Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination Prepare and submit progress, compliance, and risk reports Liaise with contractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure project success Support effective communication across all stakeholders Minimum Requirements 23 years experience within the fire protection or fire systems industry N3 qualification in Plumbing or Electrical Knowledge of fire protection systems including sprinklers, alarms, suppression systems, pumps, and motors Basic understanding of fire safety standards, codes, and building regulations Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to various sites Key Skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a team High attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to manage multiple tasks in a site-based environment Location Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa (site-based role with travel required) Why Apply Work within a specialised fire protection and safety environment Gain exposure to a wide range of fire systems and technologies Opportunity to grow within a technical and compliance-driven field Be part of a team focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence
