About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Nature Guide to join our luxury boutique reserve in Hermanus, Overberg. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise with visitors and contribute to the conservation of this unique private protected biosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead nature walks and educational programs for guests
- Provide expert knowledge on fynbos, birdlife, and marine ecosystems
- Assist with conservation efforts and habitat management
- Collaborate with other guides and stakeholders to develop and implement conservation initiatives
Requirements
- Experience & knowledge of Overberg Birdlife, Fynbos & plant life, Marine & ecosystems
- Physically fit & healthy with at least 5 years experience as a guide
- Minimum CATHSSETA Nature Site Guide (NQF2) / FGASA Nature Guide (NQF2) or higher qualification
- Up-to-date Registration with the National Department of Tourism (NDT)
- Valid South African drivers license WITH PDP
