About the Role
A leading luxury safari Lodge in Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a passionate Assistant Head Ranger to support guiding teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a world-class wildlife environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of field guides and ensure top-tier guest experiences
- Conduct game drives, walks & interpretive wildlife experiences
- Maintain guiding equipment, vehicles & safety standards
- Contribute to team development, training & conservation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with guiding regulations and operational standards
Requirements
- FGASA Level 1 (minimum)
- Valid driver’s licence with PDP
- First Aid certification
- Inkwazi Ranger Course (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of guiding experience
