About the Role
A leading luxury safari operation is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee multiple lodges, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences in Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day lodge operations, budgets & financial performance
- Lead, mentor & develop diverse teams across departments
- Uphold and enhance world-class service and guest satisfaction
- Drive sustainability, conservation & community engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including local communities and conservation teams
Requirements
- Proven experience in luxury lodge operations or a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (LLB not specified)
- Relevant experience in luxury lodge operations (live-in role required)
