About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with technical expertise in finance reporting, tax, and SARS dispute resolution to join our team at Boneo Placement Services. This is a high-autonomy role that requires a self-starter who can navigate complex tax legislation and resolve high-stakes SARS disputes with ease.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle from daily reconciliations to drafting final annual financial statements with total independence.
- Resolve SARS disputes and debt compromises with technical mastery.
- Prepare accurate, billable time-tracking for clients.
- Utilize AI-driven tax research tools to stay ahead of the curve.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar high-responsibility accounting role.
- Technical Mastery: Proven exposure to SARS disputes, debt compromises, and verifications.
- Software: Proficiency in Cloud Accounting (Xero/Sage/Draftworx) and advanced Excel.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex tax matters to clients with clarity and authority.
