Johannesburg: Branch Manager

A reputable tyre retailer is seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead operations at their branch in Johannesburg West. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tyre and under-car fitment, retail management, and financial oversight, with excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English. Key Responsibilities: – Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient business running. – Manage, motivate, and lead branch staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. – Maintain optimal stock levels, manage inventory, and oversee procurement processes. – Ensure the achievement of budgets and performance targets as set for the branch. – Interpret financial statements and take corrective actions to maintain and grow profitability. – Grow the business through the acquisition of new accounts and customers. – Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service. – Implement effective sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns. – Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Requirements: – Must reside in Johannesburg West area. – Matric (Grade 12) and a relevant post-matric degree/qualification. – Valid drivers license. – Advanced computer literacy (proficient with MS Office and relevant systems). – In-depth knowledge of tyres and under-car fitment processes. – Demonstrated financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements. – Managerial qualification and/or proven management experience. – At least 2 years of retail management experience (tyre/automotive sector an advantage). – Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. – Excellent communication skills fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
