About the Role
HotelJobs is seeking a highly motivated Brand Manager to champion and drive the success of our professional cooking equipment brand based in Johannesburg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strategies to grow and maximize profits while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with sales and account management teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and promote our brand through various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the brand
- Understand the market and customers
- Achieve sales targets and increase market share
- Provide excellent customer service and conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and cooking demonstrations
- Establish and maintain relationships with dealers and end users
- Communicate the brand identity and corporate position to target markets
- Monitor competitors’ products, services, and solutions for comparison
- Develop new accounts, maintain current accounts, and expand the database of customers
- Manage sales, margins, inventory levels, and purchasing to maximize profits
- Identify opportunities across various market segments and develop action plans to improve performance
- Track performance on all SKUs and develop sales and demand forecasts
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Relevant professional cookery / tertiary qualification
- At least 3 years proven work experience in hospitality or catering
- Direct work experience in a similar capacity in the same or similar industries as well as strategic leadership experience
- Experience in building and nurturing brands
- Drivers license
- Excellent understanding of market and customer
- Ability to travel regularly
