About the Role
The Construction Supervisor will oversee construction deliverables and manage assigned construction projects in accordance with company policies and client requirements. This role requires a strong focus on quality, safety, and environmental responsibilities, as well as effective project cost and schedule management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute work in accordance with quality and safety standards
- Control project cost and schedule for assigned discipline/subset of on site construction
- Initiate safety, quality, and environmental processes within their area of control
- Coordinate supply and delivery of equipment, subcontractors, consumables, accommodation, and other project-specific requirements
- Utilise Commercial processes to capture variations effectively
- Work with engineering in design phases to influence the design for optimum constructability
Requirements
- Appropriate level of field construction experience (typically gained through a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience)
- Relevant industry knowledge and skills
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, communication, and team building skills
- Ability to work with timelines/targets and drive culture change when required
Qualifications
- Minimum qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma/apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
