About the Role
Meet and exceed sales targets as set out by the Company monthly and annually. As an External Sales Consultant in Johannesburg, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, cultivating customer service experience, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Maintain excellent relationships with current clients, calling on them every day
- Present all sales proposals to the Sales Manager
- Report daily and weekly sales figures and SWOT analysis to Sales Manager
- Procure and specify project sales, following up regularly on projects
- Be actively involved from inception
- Ensure product knowledge and training are up-to-date, presenting new products to clients and securing additional sales
- Keep up-to-date with competitor offerings and market trends
- Set appointments and keep diary updated in real-time
- Complete administration tasks accurately and effectively
Requirements
- South African citizen with an ID, residing in Johannesburg
- Matric with a current, valid, legal South African drivers license
- Minimum 3 years proven lighting and/or electrical sales experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong product technical knowledge on company products and industry standards
