Description:

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Construction firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Highway Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Manage the design and construction of highway and roadway projects
Prepare and review project designs, plans and specifications
Oversee the preparation of permit applications and documentation
Coordinate with project teams and external stakeholders, such as government agencies and consultants
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise
Conduct inspections and quality control checks
Manage project budgets and schedules
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineering staff

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in highway engineering and project management
Strong knowledge of highway design standards and regulations
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other design software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Experience with construction management software is a plus
Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
