About the Role
A dynamic and growing organization is seeking a highly skilled HR and Payroll Generalist to join its Human Resources team, contributing across a full spectrum of HR functions while playing a key role in compliance, payroll, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and manage the full BBBEE process, including coordination with third-party vendors
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including all required pre-employment checks
- Prepare and submit Work Skills Plans (WSP/ATR) and Employment Equity reports
- Compile skills development documentation for TETA compliance
- Manage the full payroll function, including statutory submissions
- Support performance management processes
- Handle industrial relations matters in collaboration with external partners
- Prepare HR reports for regional and head office requirements
- Facilitate employee training, coaching, and development initiatives
- Maintain all HR administrative functions
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation (BCEA and LRA)
- Promote employee and employer welfare
- Provide support on ad-hoc management requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources
- Certification in VIP Payroll System
- 3 – 5 years experience in a similar HR and Payroll Generalist role in the logistics sector
- Hands-on experience with VIP Payroll System
