About the Role
The Maintenance Coordinator role at Staff Solutions is a critical position that requires coordination and management of production-based total productive maintenance systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, procurement, and engineering, with excellent communication and training skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate all activates for the management and deployment of all production based total productive maintenance systems.
- Train production personnel to ensure sound working knowledge of total productive maintenance at Level 1 and 2 tasks.
- Collate the summary results from each deployed total productive maintenance system.
- Manage and ensure the availability of all plant consumables and equipment, and critical spares through speedy procurement and standard inventory management.
- Manage the Level 3 and 4 Preventative Maintenance scheduling.
- Update SAP MII/ PMM system with job card information to ensure an accurate historical database.
- Generate management reports detailing results of plant/equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR.
- Manage and execute all service contracts and maintenance based NPP consumables.
- Participate continues improvement activities to meet the Key Performance Indicators Targets.
- Support continuous improvement efforts: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for all facilities.
- Liaise, define and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening subcontracting, ordinary and major maintenance actions, energy, security systems and ensure adherence the purchasing policy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Business/Engineering/N6 plus trade related field.
- Minimum 3 – 5 year of working experience within a maintenance/engineering environment.
- Proven experience in a procurement process with understanding of maintenance needs.
- Thorough knowledge of injection moulding processes, equipment, technologies, as well as related consumable materials.
