About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a diligent and analytical Internal Auditor to join their renowned team in the Transport Courier Industry in Gauteng, Isando. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance processes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of operational and financial processes to assess compliance with policies and regulations.
- Identify areas of improvement in internal controls and provide recommendations for enhancing control procedures.
- Perform risk assessments to identify potential areas of risk and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Communicate audit results and recommendations to management and collaborate with stakeholders to implement necessary changes.
- Monitor and follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in internal auditing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably exposure in the transport courier industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and audit software.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing the transport courier industry.
