About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Attorney to join our team in Johannesburg, providing support across various aspects of corporate law. As a key member of our legal support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations remain legally sound and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage claims and litigation preparation
- Draft and review contracts and corporate agreements
- Instruct and co-ordinate external legal support on matters
- Support compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements
- Provide day-to-day legal advisory to managers and business units
Requirements
- LLB degree (recently qualified attorney or candidate attorney completing articles)
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Knowledge of South African corporate law and compliance frameworks
