About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking experienced South African Maintenance Technicians to work in Hoogeveen, Netherlands. The successful candidates will be part of a team of about 8 colleagues but will mostly work independently. They will support 3 production departments and work with highly complex machinery, while also carrying out standard maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve technical problems
- Resolve machine malfunction
- Ensure continuous production and smooth running of the production line
- Troubleshooting and performing necessary analyses, as well as preventive maintenance
- Conducting (preventive) inspections and carrying out planned maintenance
- Analysing recurring electrical and control technical problems, and proposing solutions
- Locating malfunctions and resolving them using various programming and measuring equipment
- Modifying control systems and software programs
Requirements
- Matric / N4
- Electrical Trade Test or Millwright Trade Test or Instrumentation Technician Trade Test or Instrumentation Technician Diploma (N6)
- N1 N6 highly advantageous
- South African Drivers License
- Fluent in the Afrikaans language essential and mandatory
- Completed 3 year apprenticeship
- 1 Year work experience post trade test from any industry
- Knowledge of control techniques and PLC applications such as Siemens S7/TIA Portal
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Salary & Benefits
42k – 54k per annum + shift allowance (18,5%), monthly rand conversion (R86k R73k)
