The business operates as a technical partner to the mining industry, delivering solutions that combine engineering, chemical expertise, and on-site support to improve operational performance, safety, and environmental compliance.
With a strong footprint across Africa, the company works closely with mining clients to solve complex challenges through customised, value-driven solutions rather than commodity products.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within:
    • Mining operations
    • Quarries and bulk materials handling environments
  • Drive sales of dust suppression solutions, including:
    • Chemical suppressants
    • Water-based spray systems
    • Misting and atomisation technologies

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build relationships with:
    • HSE and environmental managers
    • Plant managers
    • Mining engineers and site leadership
  • Act as a trusted advisor on dust suppression and environmental performance

Project Coordination & Implementation

  • Work closely with internal technical teams to:
    • Support trials and pilot projects
    • Oversee solution implementation
    • Monitor and optimise performance
  • Ensure solutions deliver consistent and measurable results on site

Market & Opportunity Development

  • Track industry trends, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Identify opportunities to expand into related environmental or industrial sectors
  • Maintain strong knowledge of competitor activity and emerging technologies

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

 
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Mining, Environmental) or related field
 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in:
    • Dust suppression, environmental solutions, OR
    • Technical sales in mining or industrial sectors
  • Proven track record in business development and solution-based sales
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Mining operations and dust generation points
    • Dust suppression methods (chemical and mechanical systems)
  • Ability to engage with both technical and operational stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel frequently to mine sites (locally and into Africa)
  • Consultative, solution-driven sales approach
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Technical problem-solving ability
  • Relationship-building and stakeholder management
  • Self-driven with a results-oriented mindset
