Job Description
Reviewing supporting documentation before transactions are processed
Managing and allocating cashbooks, particularly within debtor functions
Preparing and reviewing creditor reconciliations
Monitoring debtor and creditor accounts to ensure timely collections and payments
Reviewing and approving reconciliations, credit requests, and expenditure requests
Supporting cash flow forecasting and day-to-day cash management
Reconciling various accounts, including credit cards and supplier accounts
Tracking supplier activity, including second-hand or stock-related transactions
Skills & Experience:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Solid communication and problem-solving skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Solid experience in a hands-on environment, like Manufacturing or FMCG
Experience working with stock or inventory is often beneficial
Qualification:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related field
CIMA route is preferred
