About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead our finance function in Johannesburg North. The successful candidate will oversee and manage the entire finance function, leading a team of finance professionals and driving performance and efficiency. This is a critical role that requires strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire finance function
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions
- Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements
- Implement and improve financial controls, systems, and processes
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams while driving performance and efficiency
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements, with experience in audits and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software (Pastel or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and decision-making
Qualifications
- CA(SA) qualification is a requirement for this role.
