Johannesburg North: Junior Financial Manager posted by Network Finance

Our client operates within the property and storage industry, managing a growing portfolio and offering a dynamic environment with strong exposure to operational finance. Based at the Johannesburg North Head Office, the Junior Financial Manager will play a key role in financial reporting, controls, analysis and supporting strategic decision-making. A role where your development is prioritised, your opinion matters and your contributions shape the financial health of a growing property group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts with property-specific commentary
• Maintain the fixed asset register and assist with IFRS-aligned financial statements
• Manage cash flow forecasts and monitor rental income and expense movements
• Collaborate with Property Managers on leases and utility recoveries
• Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE and statutory submissions
• Review bank recons, GL recons and supplier payments
• Support year-end audits, investor reporting and inter-company reconciliations
• Implement and maintain internal controls and assist with process improvements
• Partner with senior leadership on budgets, analysis and operational decision support

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BCom in Accounting or Finance
• SAICA / SAIPA articles
• 1 to 3 years experience in a finance or accounting role
• Property management / real estate experience advantageous
• Strong Excel skills
• Working knowledge of IFRS and SA tax regulations
• Experience with QuickBooks or Xero (advantageous)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
