About the Role
We are seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our high-end kitchen team in a prestigious fine dining environment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for driving pastry operations, menu development, and food preparation while upholding exceptional standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee pastry section, supervise staff, and maintain impeccable standards
- Create and refine desserts, pastries, and seasonal offerings through menu development
- Ensure consistency, creativity, and flawless plating in food preparation & presentation
- Manage ordering, stock rotation, and food cost efficiency in inventory & cost control
- Uphold hygiene and sanitation standards at all times to ensure food safety
- Train and inspire junior pastry chefs in a collaborative environment as part of team mentorship
Requirements
- Culinary diploma or degree from an accredited institution
- 5 years of professional pastry experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, dessert plating, and inventory management
- Creativity, precision, and passion for fine dining excellence
