About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Production Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing production teams and overseeing the production process in a FMCG/Manufacturing or Industrial environment, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise production teams and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Manage production processes, equipment, and quality requirements
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize production efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety management protocols
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement production strategies
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong work ethic and commitment to team success
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) or Related Field
- Minimum 5 Years’ experience in Production Management within a FMCG/Manufacturing or Industrial environment
- Experience in Flexographic Printing (Flexo) is an advantage
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma is desirable
- Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise production teams
