About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Red Seal Diesel Technician to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks and commercial vehicles
  • Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain brakes, transmissions, steering, and other mechanical systems
  • Troubleshoot complex vehicle faults and implement effective solutions
  • Keep accurate maintenance and repair records
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards
  • Collaborate with the fleet team to minimize downtime of vehicles

Requirements

  • Diesel Mechanic / Technician
  • Proven experience servicing and repairing trucks and heavy vehicles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Valid drivers license (Code 10 minimum)
