Johannesburg: Quality Controller

Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for on-line inspection of intermediate products and finished products during production Monitoring production process to reduce substandard quality risks Raising Quality Incident cards for any incidents Ensuring equipment and testing tools are calibrated Approving in-process production by confirming specifications Documenting inspection reports and maintaining station cleanliness Reporting abnormal findings to department head Supporting quality in production by performing on-line tests Issuing batch manufacturing documents and conducting investigations when required Training and coaching production line staff Professional Qualifications/Experience: Grade 12 certificate with 4 years of experience OR Scientific qualification with 1-2 years of relevant industry experience Ability to read and interpret technical material Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Key Competencies/Personal Attributes: Self-Motivated High Integrity and Ethics Proactive and Creative problem-solving Confident decision-making Attention to detail Key Challenges: Conflict management Change management
