About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Executive: Supply Chain to lead our supply chain operations in Johannesburg, responsible for driving efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial and/or supply chain management background, with a proven track record of success in managing budgets and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery
  • Oversee procurement processes, ensuring alignment with policies and budget constraints
  • Manage logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimising excess stock
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure reliability of supply
  • Work closely with sales, production, and finance teams to ensure alignment
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Lead and develop teams across distribution, warehousing, procurement, and raw materials, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant qualification
  • 35 years experience in a commercial and/or supply chain management or executive role
  • 23 years experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in an organisation managing its own fleet of trucks
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial targets

  • Chartered Accountant qualification
