About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager Automotive Refinish to drive new business acquisition within the automotive refinish industry in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will focus on identifying, prospecting, and converting body shops, fleet operators, and independent repair centres to premium automotive refinish solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target new body shops, fleets, and independent repair centres within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute structured prospecting plans to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through ongoing lead generation.
- Convert customers from competitor brands to premium automotive refinish systems.
- Conduct on-site assessments of body shops and repair facilities.
- Present and demonstrate automotive refinish products, digital solutions, and process improvements.
- Coordinate product trials, system changeovers, and customer onboarding activities.
- Work closely with distributors and industry partners to support customer acquisition initiatives.
- Negotiate pricing structures, commercial agreements, and customer contracts.
- Secure new customer agreements and deliver against sales revenue targets.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments.
- Identify market opportunities and customer needs.
Requirements

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive refinish sales.
