Job Description

Requirements Gathering: Communicate with business stakeholders to understand needs. Compile and record specific business requirements with weekly progress reporting. Gather and examine information from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights guiding workflows and associated potential enhancements. Develop and communicate business requirements and functional specifications. Execution can commence following acceptance of requirements. Process Enhancement and Modelling: Develop, review, and enhance process related artefacts (inclusive of standard operating procedures) for GIS Cyber Defence, clarifications in alignment with policies and standards. Inclusive of, but not limited to: requisite process flows, stakeholders, role clarification, and opportunities for automation. Provide guidance on process and procedural solutions to address related GIS Cyber Defence concerns, in alignment with governance requirements and business objectives. Solution Design: Propose solutions to address identified issues and realise opportunities for improvement. Propose business rules to support designed solutions for optimal business. Propose and improve improvements in agile way of work. Technical Support and Implementation: Drive and support implementation of proposed and agreed solutions in alignment with committed plans. Proactively provide subject matter expertise to enable implementation. Operational Delivery: Conduct market research, competitor analysis and provide relevant insights to the team, identify new opportunities and gaps, partnership models, opportunities etc. Coordinate and support the operational activities in the department Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, including executives, development teams, digital central and in market teams, and external partners. Product spreadsheet tracker showing all key tasks from assigned work against deliverables as a monthly report that will be signed off. Failure do product this tracker can lead to contract termination. Ad Hoc: Business Case Development – Aid in business case development (i.e., research, data collection). Provide factual content to the feasibility studies that are needed for standard development projects and enhancements. Testing – Assist in the development of user test cases and to validate the test results during testing of the solutions aimed at closing gaps in the business processes.
