About the Role

Chosen Online Pty Ltd is seeking an exceptional Senior Partner Account Manager to accelerate our high-growth technology business’s next phase of growth. This role combines strategic relationship management, business development, partner enablement, and revenue generation into one highly visible and influential position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow and Strengthen Existing Partner Relationships
  • Build strong executive and operational relationships within partner organisations.
  • Drive engagement, collaboration, and commercial success.
  • Identify and unlock new opportunities within partner customer bases.
  • Generate a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Conduct strategic business reviews and growth planning sessions.
  • Become a trusted advisor and key point of contact for partner stakeholders.
  • Identify and Secure New Enterprise Partners
  • Identify, target, and engage prospective enterprise partners.
  • Leverage your network and market knowledge to open doors and create opportunities.
  • Build and execute a proactive partner acquisition strategy.
  • Negotiate and establish commercially successful partnerships.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of prospective partners across key industry sectors.
  • Drive Successful Partner Onboarding and Enablement
  • Lead partner onboarding initiatives.
  • Deliver sales enablement and partner training programmes.
  • Create strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure partners are equipped to identify and generate opportunities effectively.
  • Foster long-term engagement and partner growth.
  • Generate Qualified Opportunities
  • Work closely with partners to uncover opportunities where integration, automation, orchestration, and digital transformation solutions can deliver significant business value.
  • Identify opportunities within partner customer environments.
  • Collaborate with partner sales and leadership teams.
  • Drive indirect pipeline growth through strategic engagement.
  • Support joint go-to-market initiatives and business development activities.
  • Maintain a strong focus on opportunity creation and revenue impact.
  • Opportunity Qualification and Handover
  • Assess and qualify partner-generated opportunities.
  • Gather business requirements and evaluate opportunity fit.
  • Ensure opportunities meet agreed qualification criteria.
  • Seamlessly transition qualified opportunities to the internal sales team.
  • Maintain visibility and engagement throughout the sales process where required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of overall business experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within:
  • Channel Sales
  • Alliance Management
  • Partner Management
  • Strategic Partnerships
  • Business Development
  • Proven success in building and growing partner ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue through indirect sales channels.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience engaging with enterprise-level organisations and senior decision-makers.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will engage with enterprise-level organisations across two key categories:

  • Technology VARs and Implementation Partners (specialising in SAP, Sage, Salesforce, Microsoft, ERP Solutions, CRM Solutions, E-commerce Platforms, Integration and Automation Technologies)

Travel Requirements

This role requires regular travel to partner locations across:

  • Johannesburg
  • Cape Town
  • Durban

While the majority of partner interactions will take place in Johannesburg, the successful candidate should enjoy being in front of customers and partners and be comfortable travelling as required. When not travelling, the role will be based full-time from the Rosebank office.
