Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To take control of all deliveries and issuing of equipment and materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performing activities to monitor and maintain inventory control of merchandise or material, receiving of incoming and outgoing shipments in accordance with documentation issued.
Evaluation of inventory levels, identifying stock items and managing the replenishing hereof.
To prepare an action plan together with the management team on reducing the current warehouse stock.
Ensure the receiving process of all stock is managed and recorded and communicated to the interested parties.
To co-ordinate the packing of Project orders as per delivery notes. In the case of exports, the requirement for pre-shipment inspections may be necessary as well as specialized packing may be required from time to time.
To communicate back to Project admin on stock and stock levels.
The implementation of general stock and stock levels.
To implement a storage location system within the warehouse so that stock, project material can be stored correctly. To ensure all shelving is labelled correctly and that this ties in with our SAP system or manual system if applicable.
Monthly Reporting.
Weekly store meetings.
The co-ordination of quarterly stock takes and the feedback thereof.
Management of warehouse staff and to implement and monitor the KPI for each individual.
