Our client is a growing player in the logistics and freight sector, committed to excellence and client satisfaction. As the Accountant, you will manage day-to-day finance operations, contribute to monthly and annual financial statements, and ensure the business maintains financial integrity and compliance. This role offers exposure to growth projects and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full accounting function including journals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts.
• Ensure accurate and timely VAT and tax submissions.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support management with ad hoc financial project

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification (essential).
• 3–5 years’ solid accounting experience, ideally in logistics, distribution, or FMCG.
• Strong financial reporting and reconciliation expertise.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong sense of accountability and deadline-driven.
