Our client, a well-established packhouse operation within the agricultural industry, is currently looking for a detail-orientated and highly organised candidate for the following position: JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT BURGERSFORT AREA Requirements: Minimum of 2 years relevant accounting experience while previous packhouse experience will be advantageous. Pastel accounting experience is essential. Studying towards a Finance or Accounting degree/diploma will be beneficial. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong numerical aptitude and analytical thinking ability. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Professional, ethical and able to maintain confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: Capture and process supplier invoices accurately on the accounting system. Match purchase orders, delivery notes and supplier invoices. Reconcile supplier statements with creditor ledger balances. Prepare payment batches and ensure timeous supplier payments. Liaise with suppliers regarding queries and discrepancies. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Assist with month-end procedures, reconciliations and reporting. Capture and reconcile bank transactions, petty cash and debit card expenses. Maintain finance and compliance filing systems. Assist with internal and external audits. Perform creditor age analysis, cash book reconciliations and reporting on Pastel. To apply, send CV with reference MJAB to by no later than 08 June 2026
