About the Role
An established and growing group of companies is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Finance Manager (operations experience) to join their executive leadership team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving financial performance, improving operational efficiencies, and contributing to the long-term growth strategy of the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across the group
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive management
- Analyse business performance and identify opportunities for profitability improvement and cost optimisation
- Oversee compliance, financial controls, and statutory reporting requirements
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders
- Evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and performance
- Assist with investment decisions, financial due diligence, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while fostering a collaborative culture
- Work closely with operational teams to improve workflows and resource allocation across the business
Requirements
- Qualified CA(SA)
- Minimum 8 years finance experience
- Minimum 4 years experience in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience managing multiple business entities
- Strong operational and commercial acumen
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
