About the Role
Edgexec (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to drive procurement excellence across complex technical projects. The successful candidate will shape supplier strategies that deliver real operational value, working closely with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective sourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full supplier selection and tendering process for technical services
- Execute strategic sourcing initiatives across OPEX and CAPEX projects
- Conduct commercial evaluations, including pricing and contractual analysis
- Facilitate tender briefings and site meetings with suppliers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Develop and present award recommendations to key decision-makers
- Support procurement reporting, analytics, and performance tracking
- Identify and implement innovative sourcing solutions
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Procurement, Commerce, or related field
- 5+ years experience in procurement and project-based sourcing
- Strong experience in tendering, RFx processes, and commercial evaluations
- Solid understanding of finance, contract law, and procurement principles
- Advanced Excel and SAP proficiency
- Strong report writing and analytical capability
- Professional certification (CIPS or equivalent) advantageous
- Valid drivers license
