About the Role
The Junior Production Supervisor role is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Malmesbury and contribute to the success of our production process. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring that products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the end-to-end production process, including trimming, grinding, mixing, packing, wrapping, and labelling.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and presentation requirements.
- Monitor production efficiency, productivity, and cost control.
- Manage stock rotation and inventory within the production area.
- Implement and maintain production procedures that support operational excellence.
- Identify and address quality or maintenance issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, SHEQ, and OHS standards.
- Manage attendance, discipline, and employee relations.
- Resolve production, quality, and maintenance issues promptly.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a FMCG environment
