Malmesbury: Maintenance Supervisor – Malmesbury

About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor role is a critical position in our FMCG facility, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing preventative and corrective maintenance activities, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Prioritize and allocate maintenance work to ensure timely completion
• Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime
• Ensure accurate completion of job cards, maintenance records, and downtime reporting
• Supervise and support maintenance staff, including performance, attendance, and work quality
• Maintain housekeeping standards within maintenance areas
• Take ownership of the facility and ensure compliance with company policies, SHEQ, food safety, and OHS requirements
• Participate in standby duties as required

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Trade Test (Millwright / Fitter & Turner / Electrician)
• 3–5 years’ engineering/maintenance experience in an FMCG environment
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, refrigeration, piping, and plumbing
• Strong team leadership and supervisory skills
