About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our team at Gloss Boss in Vredenburg. As a key member of our salon, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling.

Key Responsibilities

• Staying up to date with latest trends and techniques in hair styling, cutting, coloring and treatments.
• Providing exceptional customer service by understanding and fulfilling clients’ needs and desires.
• Performing variety of technical services including highlighting, tinting, balayage, Mycro Keratin treatments, Brazilian blowouts and more to achieve clients desired looks.
• Consulting with clients to understand their hair goals, preference and lifestyle, providing expert advice and recommendations.
• Creating personalized hair designs that enhance clients’ natural features and reflect current fashion trends.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and maintained.
• Acting as a mentor to junior stylists, sharing knowledge and providing guidance to help them grow in their careers.
• Participating in ongoing training and development programs to expand skills and stay current with industry advancements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Stylist in a reputable salon.
• Proficiency in a wide range of technical services including coloring, highlighting, balayage, micro-keratin treatments and Botox treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for creativity and staying ahead of fashion trends.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends.

Qualifications

Certification in hairdressing or relevant field is preferred.
