About the Role
Fusion Personnel is seeking an experienced HR Manager/Operations professional to join our team in Middelburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, managing daily branch operations, and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all HR functions, including industrial relations, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and offboarding
- Manage HR administration: payroll inputs, employee records, benefits, and statutory requirements
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and training & development initiatives
- Conduct weekly branch audits across finance, stock, HR, and compliance (50% operational role)
- Support daily branch operations, including maintenance, stock, security, and customer-related queries
- Ensure effective health & safety, security, and overall operational efficiency across branches
- Assist with branch rollouts, project planning, merchandising, and stock management
- Provide support on systems, IT, hardware, and asset management
- Compile and analyse reports on stock, sales, pricing, and branch performance
- Support marketing initiatives, including website updates, promotions, and events coordination
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ management experience
- Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources
- Proven experience in recruitment and industrial relations
- Strong operational exposure (retail / multi-branch environment advantageous)
- Willingness to travel with operational teams
- Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent self-management and interpersonal skills
