About the Role

This Group Finance & Management Accountant role sits within the Group Finance team and plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and financial transparency across multiple entities and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Group financial reporting processes across multiple entities and business units.
- Participate in IFRS and US GAAP reporting workstreams and regulatory submissions.
- Support monthly management reporting, reconciliations, and financial control processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A-related initiatives.
- Participate in finance transformation projects, including automation and systems improvements.
- Support SOX compliance processes, internal controls, and audit documentation.
- Work closely with Group Finance, Shared Services, operational finance teams, and external stakeholders.
- Assist with tax compliance and broader Group finance initiatives.
- Support strategic finance projects and Group reorganisation initiatives.
- Help drive process improvements because “this is how we’ve always done it” is not considered a strategy.
Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification with board 1st attempt passes.
- 15 years post-qualification experience.
- Experience within fintech, SaaS, financial services, digital banking, or similarly fast-paced environments preferred.
- Exposure to SOX environments and US GAAP.
- Strong financial reporting and management accounting skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong systems understanding.
