Billing & ClaimsAccurate and timely submission of medical billing claims within prescribed turnaround periods; resolution of billing queries and rejected claims.Collections OversightDaily collections follow-up, monitoring of outstanding debtors, and escalation of unresolved collections matters within agreed timelines.Workflow MonitoringDay-to-day monitoring of billing and administrative workflow compliance; identification and documentation of workflow delays or deviations.Operational ReportingPreparation and submission of daily operational reports, weekly workflow summaries, and monthly KPI performance reports to R.IT management.KPI TrackingMonitoring of agreed KPIs relating to billing turnaround times, collections rates, and administrative compliance; flagging of underperformance.ReconciliationDaily billing and collections reconciliation; accurate maintenance of operational records and revenue-protection documentation.Escalation SupportDocumentation and escalation of operational non-compliance or workflow failures to R.IT management in accordance with the Escalation Protocol.POPIA ComplianceHandling of all patient and billing data in strict accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 and applicable healthcare confidentiality obligations.Minimum RequirementsMatric (Grade 12) essentialMinimum 2 years’ experience in medical billing or healthcare administrationDemonstrated knowledge of medical aid / medical scheme billing.
